MobileData launches Professional Services division

Identifying the need to provide its clients with an integrated services offering, South African-based technology provider MobileData has unveiled its new Professional Services Division.

izelle-articleIzelle Roos, previously the business development manager at MobileData, has been appointed as its head.

“We have an extensive Blue Chip customer base that requires a certain level of professional services and understanding when engaging with us. This focus on strengthening our services approach reflects how important more nuanced customer engagement has become in the digital age,” she says.

The division will take the next several months to transition customers into the new services methodology with Roos expecting the process to be completed by early December.

“Companies are operating in an agile environment and expect their providers to adapt to their specific business needs in as real-time a fashion as possible. To this end, MobileData has incorporated a business analyst into the division that will act as a vital interface between our technical teams and the client,” says Roos.

Andre-smallAndré Louw, CEO of MobileData, believes the strategic alignment of the division within standard business operations will be essential for its success.

“With Professional Services, we want to provide customers with the best of all worlds. From project ideation through to completion, this division will fulfil a critical part in making sure that the systems we implement stay aligned to customer needs and that clients have the convenience of engaging directly with expert consultants who understand their objectives,” he says.

Roos adds that being able to act as facilitators between technical and business teams will see the division address these requirements.

“Our consultants will have a unique birds-eye view of both the project and the customer needs. This will see it linking the respective MobileData and customer resources more effectively together. All of this will be guided by comprehensive service level agreements for a more integrated approach,” she says.

Each consultant in the Professional Services division has the expertise to help guide customer implementations and assist the MobileData technical team with business advisory and guidance services. This will provide for a more effective project and reduces any potential challenges that might exist with the migration of customer processes.

“We are entering an exciting phase of development at MobileData. Having a Professional Services division geared for customer growth will enable us to enhance our value proposition even further,” Roos concludes.
